ImmigrantNews.pro is a trilingual (English, Russian, Spanish) immigration news resource for the United States, focused on deportation, court proceedings, and asylum. Below are the principles the project's editorial team works by.
How we select and check facts
We rely on official primary sources: USCIS, AILA, ICE, CBP, the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Register, the CourtListener database of court decisions, and other government and professional sources. This is a selection principle: we prefer an agency document to someone else's retelling of it.
How material is prepared
We use technology to track and organize the news — to notice changes in rules, case law, and agency documents in time and bring them into a consistent format. The project's editorial team is international.
The legal side
We work with practicing immigration attorneys who help the editorial team make sense of complex legal questions. This does not mean every piece of material is individually reviewed by an attorney.
What this is — and what it is not
Content on the site is general information and is not personal legal advice. Separate from the site's content, there is a paid "ask an attorney" service (Premium): direct communication with a licensed attorney inside the platform — a standalone service, not the site's automatic content.
