Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is a program that provides protection from deportation and work authorization to individuals who were brought to the United States as children.
Requirements
- Arrived in the U.S. before age 16
- Continuously resided in the U.S. since June 15, 2007
- Were physically present in the U.S. on June 15, 2012
- Were under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012
- Currently in school, have a diploma, or have served in the military
- No serious criminal convictions
